"Christ...has gone into heaven and is at God's right hand- with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him."  (1 Peter 3:21-22 NIV1984)

We at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Osceola welcome you to our website.  We welcome you to visit our church as well!  Above all, we want you to have and enjoy forever the salvation Jesus won for you by his death for your sins on the cross, and which God assures you of by Jesus' resurrection from the dead.

Zion Lutheran is here to serve souls in our community with God's word, especially the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ.

Zion is a Bible believing church.  We accept all the books of the Bible, both Old and New Testament, as the inspired and inerrant word of God.

Zion is a Christ-centered church.  We want everyone to know and have God's gift of eternal life in heaven.  It is truly a gift.  We don't gain heaven by earning it.  God gives it to us unworthy sinners, and we receive it by believing in his Son, Jesus Christ, as our Savior.  Jesus told us in John 6:40 (NIV), "My Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."
